Quality Center Synchronizer
Quality Center
Synchronizer enables you to:
- Synchronize defect data between Quality Center
and Rational ClearQuest.
- Synchronize requirement data between Quality
Center and Rational RequisitePro.
- Synchronize defect data between Quality Center projects.
- Develop additional third party adapters for requirement or defect
synchronization using the
HP Quality Center Synchronizer Adapter Software Development Kit.

New: Synchronize between Quality Center
defects and Microsoft Team Foundation Server work items using the HP Quality Center Synchronizer TFS Adapter. To
download the TFS Adapter, right-click
Download TFS Adapter and save
the file on your server machine. For installation instructions and
additional information on synchronizing with TFS, refer to the
HP Quality Center Synchronizer TFS
Adapter Readme.

Installation Instructions:
- Right-click Download Quality Center Synchronizer Server and choose Save Target As. In the Save As dialog box, select a location to save the file on your server machine and click Save.
- Unzip the saved file and run the file setup.exe.
- Click Download Quality Center Synchronizer Client and install the Quality Center
Synchronizer client on your client machine.
Open source components: Quality Center Synchronizer uses open source components, including JBoss, JavaService, and
Quartz.
Versions supported:
- Defect synchronization: Rational ClearQuest 2003.06.15; 2003.06.16; 7.0; 7.0.1;
and 7.1 with HP Quality Center 10.00.
- Requirement synchronization: Rational RequisitePro 2003.06.15;
2003.06.16; 7.0; 7.0.1; and 7.1 with HP
Quality Center 10.00.
- Defect synchronization between Quality Center 10.00 projects (Premier
Edition only).
